Children's Room Maroochydore children's counselling room contains bean bags, lots of toys and resources.

Laurel Place Sunshine Coast provides a range of counselling and support options for all people of all ages who have experienced recent or past sexual violence.

Our office is located in the heart of Maroochydore - easily accessible by bus or car, with off-street parking. We can provide full disability access.

Our programs include:

Counselling and support for adults (12 years and over)
Counselling and support for children (under 12) who have experienced sexual abuse, or who engage in problem sexual behaviour
Counselling and support for young people (10 – 17 years) who engage in harmful sexual behaviours
Group programs offered based on need and demand;

We also provide information, support and advocacy to assist you with access to other services.

What to expect if you call us seeking support...

1. Your call will be transferred through to a member from the First Response Team or we may call you back at a time that suits you

2. The First Response Counsellor will collect some basic information.

You do not need to share information about your experience at this time.

3. We have several programs and locations, our First Response Counsellor will link you in with the service that best suits your needs.
